Ayame Kai Guild is the volunteer auxiliary of Keiro Northwest. They raise funds to benefit the residents and participants of Nikkei Manor and Kokoro Kai programs.

June 29, 2024- Treasures Past & Present

Ayame Kai Guild will hold a Summer fundraising event to benefit Keiro Northwest programs, Kokoro Kai senior day program, and Nikkei Manor, the 50-room assisted living facility in the Seattle Chinatown/International District.

Come shop at the Treasures Past & Present market and benefit for Keiro NW, on June 29, 2024, to be held at 4601 6th Ave S, the parking lot of Uwajimaya Corporate Offices, in Seattle’s industrial area, near the 4th Ave Costco!

There will be community members/organizations selling treasured vintage Japanese items, collectables, and other gently used items, donating the fee for space use.  As well, Ayame Kai crafters and bakers are busy developing their ever popular handicrafts and treats for sale, with donations from supporters and family and friends. We will also have an Asian goods section that features previously owned items looking for a new home.

If you are interested in sales space, as an individual, family, friends group or community non-profit, please contact Ruth Kimura at 206.931.6841 or ruthkimura206@hotmail.com. Sellers Form here: 2024 AK Treasures Appl for sales space 24.05.17.docx – Google Docs

We are more than happy to accept additional donations of homemade goodies. We do require that food items be wrapped, and ready for sale. Attached are guidelines for packaging. Ayame Kai volunteers will price the items.

If you would like to donate edible items, here are some ideas: the most popular items generally are Japanese delicacies, e.g., manju and mochi, and Asian inspired flavors for treats, like matcha and ube cookies, furikake party mix. Retail pies provided by Patrick’s Bakery and Café will also be available.

Food donations may be dropped off at the Outdoor Market site, Sat, June 29, from 8:30am to noon.

For any questions, please email ayamekai.keironw@gmail.com

Thank you in advance for your generosity and contributions. Happy Summer!
